i can afford the physical. Each form is 35$. Each, per child. Per camp.
It’s not per camp. We have our Dr fill out a blank Virginia School Health form at the annual well visit. It’s free when we bring it with us, and $35 if we need to request it special after the fact.
We fill out everything except the name of the school / camp at the top of the form. We scan it when we get home and then print it out and fill in the camp name as needed.

And it's not that we actually need another physical, it's that every camp requires a separate signed medication administration form. Day care even requires a doctor's signature to administer sunscreen, a new one every spring and fall along with a new tube of sunscreen, which is just a ridiculous hoop.
So you drop off a small stack of forms, with several business days’ worth of lead time. Then you pay the fee. This is not hard, people. It requires a little planning, organization, money and patience.
If you can’t afford the doctor fees, you can’t afford the camp. If you aren’t responsible and accountable enough to abide by the camps’ policies, you have no business sending your kid to the camp. It is that simple.

I know all that.
