It will be Bora Boring for your family. Stick to Disneyplace or Universal Gardens with kids.

We did Bora Bora as a honeymoon-
still think its nice , secluded for couples only.

Turks and Caicos has a gorgeous beach plus activities for kids.
I would do TC or Aruba with kids.

Look at kid drowning statistics at homeowners with swimming pools.

That’s people not watching their kid or assuming someone else is .

Most of the drownings occur when adults are on site.

I would not vacation at a home that had a backyard swimming pool with a 4 year old.

Did I say anything t about adults not being onsite? No I said people not watching their kids for assuming someone else is.

You not renting a vacation home with a pool is a little extreme also.

Oh - I forgot to add- you can get the best deals in January because it’s considered rainy season there. But that’s a gamble.

Went with DH. Do not go with kids- they will be so bored. I was actually less bored in Turks and Caicos- more to do there.

The thing about Bora Bora is each resort is essentially on its own island, so if you want to leave, it is a big production. Whereas somewhere like Turks, you can just hop in a can and go to a nearby restaurant.

Bora Bora is beautiful but I wouldn’t spend the time and money to take kids there when the carribean is so much closer and much more kid friendly.

We did it as our honeymoon and loved it! Saw some families at our resort. They have kayaks, SUP, and snorkeling of course. It is a really long flight but very fun trip for us and for kids too I think.

A lot of resorts won’t put young kids in OWB for that very reason.

Is it faster to get to the Maldives from here than bora bora?

No. Bora Bora is about an hour closer.

A 4 year old at a bungalow? I"d be worried about them getting up while we sleep, wandering outside and drowning.
