But the real difference was in my dating life. As an average looking overweight person, very very few people wanted to date me. As an average looking thin person, I had so many people who were interested in dating me. I could have conversations with people who I was interested in dating, and they no longer looked at me with disgust. People approached me in public to flirt or strike up a conversation.
I have always had the same personality, but I was treated as a completely different person. It is an interesting lesson to learn for sure.
I get treated better all around. By men and women. More men hit on me, women are nicer, in particular the thin, attractive women that would have ignored me 60 pounds ago. It’s a very weird thing and makes me feel more bad than good.
