I am the wife. I always cook. Yesterday we had steaks with chimichurri, roasted vegetables and potatoes. Tonight we are having salmon, salad with a vinaigrette, and a baguette that I still need to make.

Two wives in this house. She's the better cook and cooks most of the time, but last night I made grilled chicken in a vaguely Asian marinade and she made a cucumber salad to go along. Night before she did chicken tagine with olives and preserved lemon.

I planned for turkey chili. DH prepped it. He's terrible at planning meals. All falls on me, but at least he's happy to cook what I plan.

Homemade meatballs are not lazy. I'd call her smart, industrious and a great planner if she has her homemade meatballs as a back up plan for nights like this.

OP should have asked what does your spouse make for dinner.

My bad. I have a wife, and so does she. We took someone else's.

Complaining about trolling IS trolling!

Crispy shrimp tacos, avocado-lime slaw and guac.

My husband and I rotate.

Tonight the teen boy had a bunch of friends over so I cooked burgers on the grill. Sweet potato fries in an air fryer, and roasted asparagus with lemon, topped with some grated parmesan.

Not fancy, but homemade and fresh and the boys devoured it all.

Same. Every night he cooks.

Same. I’ll cook every once in a while, but not often.

Same. If it's my turn I usually reheat something he made the night before. I'm good at dishes though.

another +1. He works from home and I don't get home until 6pm usually, so it just makes sense for him to cook.

My wife was lazy tonight, she just tossed some of her homemade meatballs to simmer in a jar of Mezzetta roasted garlic sauce, tossed with capellini and topped with freshly shredded Asiago and fresh ground pepper. That Mezzetta roasted garlic just sings, it’s an outstanding sauce from a jar for those nights you just want to be lazy.
