Why does a woman complain when a man lies about something she's told him is important to her? Maybe because BEING LIED TO AT ALL is a perfectly acceptable reason to not want a second date.
One of the best relationships of my life was with a man who was/is 5'4". I am 5'7" and if you had asked me if I cared about height prior to this man, I would have definitely told you that I would strongly prefer a partner who was at least my height but beyond that, it was no longer a thing I cared about. But this guy was just amazing. He had so much charisma and was so crazy about me (in a genuine way, not a weird love bomby way) that I kind of forgot that he was a lot shorter than me. I think he occasionally wore lifts, like for special occasions, but otherwise he was just a slight guy with a big personality. We broke up after a year because he moved to Sweden. My husband is 5'8".
