Of course you would. That is the point. They aren't "dems" but have been labeled as such.
I think we all need to move towards a middle we can live with….
Where is the middle on abortion? I see NO GOP willing to legislate for the Roe-V Wade standard. What we see are total bans, bans at 6 weeks or 12 weeks. What happens if something happens to the fetus at 20 weeks? Just make the woman carry it to term everything else be damned?
Where is the middle on guns? I see NO GOP legislating for a middle ground. All unfetted access with NO background checks or other restrictions.
I could go on, but there is no middle we can all live with where the current GOP is concerned.
Well, the middle means we don’t all get what we want. I don’t mean to be disrespectful to your passion on guns and abortion.
Manchin isn’t my dream candidate either.
I’d like to think that there are a lot of Americans like me who would give up some political goals that are important to them in order to re-establish a middle in this country.
Women are already experiencing “not getting what we want” from the current President on abortion. That’s what is getting lost here— we’re already in the compromise. Joe Biden is a centrist whose beliefs on abortion are far to the right of many women and much of his party. Running even more conservative candidates is not a compromise and does not move the country to the middle.
By the way, Roe v. Wade is “the middle” on abortion. Not restricting healthcare based on gender/ERA is the progressive position.
You’re a twisted duck, blaming the assault on human rights on… Joe Biden? What’s your deal? Doing the work of this stupid GOP party?

He has no national appeal for the Democrats, but he is the best Democrat in West Virginia for the Senate.
Agree that the party changed on him.

Except Manchin has been torpeoding Biden proposals to protect his personal coal interests. That is not a democrat or GOP issue, it is just plain corruption.
