The movie has a rating: PG that means "parental guidance" as some parts may be inappropriate for children.
It doesn't say TG: "teacher guidance."

They are paid babysitter money, especially in Florida. Note that she is a first year teacher as well. I wonder how many of those they have in Florida these days. I'd bet a lot.
This is an excellent argument for homeschooling. Which also would solve the gay Disney movie problem at the same time.

These are the same people who interact knowingly and peacefully with gay people every day of their lives. And probably unknowingly and peacefully with transpeople.
When will we finally evolve?
Trans people exist very long time. However, explosion of trans people in the population. Was the trans population always so high or social contagion?
If it is social contagion, then perhaps there is some merit to right-wing argument. If they are just more free to express, then leftwing argument is correct.
You hear about it more because of the internet. Trans people have always existed in their community bubble of safety. In the 1980s, a white suburban family wouldn’t interact with or be exposed to a trans person. With social media, you’re exposed to everyone and everything.
Trans and non-binary individuals go back millennia in pretty much every major civilization.

Nothing stopping elderly from being trans, but they do not identify as so.
Here Newsweek
At 1.9 percent, Generation Z—those who were born between 1997 and 2004—has the highest percentage of people who say they identify as trans among all previous three generations.
Among millennials, 1.0 percent identify as trans, while among Generation X—those born between 1965 and 1980—and baby boomers—born between 1946 and 1964—this number plunges to 0.3 and 0.2, respectively. Among the Silent Generation—born between 1928 and 1945—those identifying as trans are less than 0.05 percent.

I think the trans people among those older generations long ago made peace with where they were in life and where society was. That doesn’t mean there weren’t trans people in those age groups.
A teacher who shows movies in class needs to be paid babysitter money, not teacher money.
