PP is likely a troll but as someone who has actually started a legitimate church, I can answer your question.

-if PP was employed by the “church” they would be able to set aside some or all of their (church) income as housing allowance and decline to pay into social security.
-home office and meeting space could be deductible like if you used your home for a business; same for deducting business expenses.
-if the “church” had income it would not be subject to income taxes. But of course they would need to incorporate and file with the IRS and state to be a not for profit.
