Ten year old still plays "house" with a much more basic plastic cottage. I don't know how many in her cohort are the same, though.

I think we're looking at something that's very child dependent.

No, they have almost aged out of this too. Get a trampoline and if that’s too dangerous, get any sports equipment. Basketball hoop, badminton, soccer etc.

Do you recommend getting one off Craigslist? I’m afraid of the work of disassembly, transport, and reassembling without instructions.


I borrowed a van from work (would never have fit in our minivan), my spouse helped the original owner take it down (took pics first), and his brother helped him reassemble in our yard. My husband helped take it down a second time when we sold it
