All "lottery seats" were matched with students attending Deal and Oyster. So the student body will be Hardy/Deal/Oyster almost exclusively.
Capitol Hill deserves better by-right HSs. But the idea that Macarthur would be part of the CH solution is absurd.
They’ve got great facilities.
Oh wait, you meant fewer poors.

I would be highly concerned with a new school however it appears MacArthur is being built on a solid foundation of teachers, admin and course offerings to make it competitive.

Guess what, so does the middle school my friends send their daughter to in Fairfax. So does the middle school I called to get a tour of in an affluent suburb on the west coast. This is not uncommon in middle school since children in middle school are in prime boundary pushing development mode. I bet it's even possible your little angel drew a penis on the wall at some point. This really says nothing about how MacArthur will evolve and what the culture of the school will be.
The administration (new principal) at Hardy has lost all control. It's a bummer that Principal Cooke left, I am sure he will have a positive impact of MacFarland.
The principal hired for MacArthur has many rave reviews. MacArthur also filled all its prioritized lottery slots so it won't just be Hardy students attending in the first few years.

How can the general public see this list.

Wait, why would that be? They aren't inbounds to MHS. Did they get a preference?
