My son carries a lightweight canvas messenger bag he picked out from Amazon. DH uses a slim Chrome messenger bag. I get to put my things in with theirs. It’s a nice change of pace when we’re out all day walking.

this stuff is pretty popular in europe these days. Over here, its mostly girls wearing fanny packs cross-body, but plenty of guys in europe do as well

I travel all of the time and have never needed a bag. Why do people feel they need all of this stuff. Shocked at the number of day packs I see in tourist carrying in European cities.

Cloth wipe for my glasses, in which I wrap twi camera lenses for my phone
Prescriptions
Two small power banks.

Depending on where we are I may bring Matador droplet stuff sack in case we buy several small things or go to a market.

I don’t really see what else you may need.

Men like to carry things like chargers and cables, maybe a bottle of water, umbrella or even a. Tablet or switch. So nothing too small.

I have one of these but only use it when it’s too warm for a vest or jacket, and always use the vest/jacket pockets instead in cooler weather. I find that pockets are easier to use than any bag — it’s just that I often need to carry more stuff (thick wallet/keys/phone/bandana/sunscreen, even tablet+charger) than I can stuff into shirt pockets + pants pockets.
