Apparently if it's not in a dome, it's cheaper. You don't get all the effects.
I hear KC has some of the cheaper tickets.

This is not necessarily true. My niece drove 4 hours today and waited and waited on stubhub for prices to drop. They didn’t so she but the bullet and paid $1300 a ticket for terrible seats. People would rather them not sell then sell at a low price, I guess.

My friend that has been tracking prices said there was one other place it didn’t drop too. I forget where now but I’ll see if I can find it. That’s why I’m not willing to travel.

We live in nyc and dd is desperate to go. Says she’s willing to forego birthday and Christmas presents for the next 4 years if we buy tickets. The cheapest tickets for NJ are 1600 and I’d need at least 2 if not 3 since her younger sister will possibly never speak to either of us if we go without her. They are 11 & 13 so can’t go alone. I’m hoping they come down in price right before and we can grab some tix. I’m not spending 5,000 for a concert.

Comparisons to the Super Bowl aren't accurate. There's only one of those per year. She's giving 30+ concerts in the US.

The demand was wild -- 90x over supply. Lots of speculators. That's the $1,600 ticket prices you see. If you don't mind uncertainty wait until the day before and buy then. Just monitor it daily, a few times a day, and you'll see when prices drop or someone offers more tickets.

I go to a lot of sporting events and this strategy works for me.

my daughter went. she had decent but not great tickets. she said she would have paid MORE for her ticket. she really loved it!

but she got a reasonable priced ticket (250ish).

there is no way ii would pay 1500 for a nosebleed seat.

Anonymous wrote:The DC area is absurd. When the Weeknd was on his Starboy tour, getting seats within 15 rows of the stage was going for $700. I was able to get front row seats in Atlantic City for $350 and use the savings to have a fun casino weekend trip, hit a club, and catch Idina Menzel the following night. I really kind of hate having to compete against the vineyard vines salmon shirt crowd for every. single. event. in this city

No need to compete for tickets for a DC area Eras show.

That's not the case for the Philly venue. The cheapest I found was $1115 EACH. And it was nose bleed or partial view.

Wait until next week.

It’s a day trip from here so easy logistics.

Book a hotel you can cancel last minute if you don’t get them.

I sold mine for an earlier show and they came down A LOT in the last week.

Tell us how you know nothing about the Era tour.

It's the Eras tour, sweetie. And if you were smart, you'd hop a plane and see it outside of a 200 mile radius from DC

You're still too early. Philly is not til next week. You need to look the day off.

This is a possibility.

Ugh. This sounds outrageous, but then again, look at the Super Bowl prices every year. That involves travel and hotels and meals, and you can't even guarantee it'll be a good game.

I would never pay anything like that for any concert or sporting event, but that's me.
