Super nice person heads up as coach. If you search "frisbee" on the Blair discussion group, you can find her contact info.

Do sports like this or bocce practice 3-5 days per week?

Again, there are no club teams in MCPS. Teams are either varsity or not affiliated with the school.

You can say crew or hockey or other non-varsity sports aren't "affiliated" with a school, but we all know they are.

Sorry, but they aren't. Their coaches aren't hired or supervised by the school system. They aren't paid or compensated by MCPS. MCPS doesn't arrange practice times, schedule contests or do any of the other of multitude of things that the sponsored sports get. All of the non school based teams are run by community groups outside of MCPS.

Again, they are valuable and worthwhile and perhaps someday MCPS will bring in other sports, but currently they are not part of the athletics program of any school.

MCPS needs to divest itself of anything that isn't education related and leave sports to the community and policing to the police.

Indeed. Leave transportation to RideOn, taxis, Uber, and Lyft. Meals to McDonalds and soup kitchens. Counseling and emotional support to, well, someone 'cause there's way too little in the community even now.

I think boys volleyball is currently 9-0 this season. Go Blazers!

It depends what your goals are. If you want your kid to get non-competitive exercise with other people, Cross Country is best. Also a good option if you need to miss practice for other activities, since their is no team coordination to learn and practice.

If you just want them outside with other people, and aren't worried about getting exercise, go for corollary sports.
