Octagon from Barboursville isn’t bad. Hardscrabble from Linden isn’t bad either. They’re no California reds but they’re decent for Virginia.

Barboursville is solid.
RDV (recently renamed to Lost Mountain) is one of the only true nice vineyards in that area. The wine is great. Most of the others just have a nice picnic area of view and the wine is sort of an afterthought.
