Crime spills over into that area. While it looks nice with upscale shops etc. last time I was there (in broad daylight) I saw a crime in progress. Police got there fast but someone was either seriously injured or murdered.

I'd go to Harbor East. There's a lot of good restaurants and bars to occupy your time.

Harbor East for a long dinner, maybe start out with shopping or a cocktail in the same area. They have parking garages so you don’t have to worry about looking for street parking.

After dinner I’d head to one of the hotel bars or lobbies and chill until pickup time.

Little Italy-it will be busy on a Saturday night so plenty of people around to feel safe. Park somewhere close to the restaurants or do a restaurant with valet if you are unsure of the area. Vaccarro's is the best! The restaurants in Harbor East have valet which makes it easy.
