Ground beef, turkey, pork, tofu, any type of firm fish, marinate with sauce of your choice. We usually do a Korean bulgogi sauce
Quick pickled red onion, carrots, cucumber, shallots, etc
Brown rice optional
Spinach
Green onion
Radish
Bean sprouts
Mint/cilantro/Thai basil etc
Romaine, little gem, butter lettuce cup
Forgot to add - leftovers go into fried rice the next day. If you want fewer carbs, substitute cabbage, cauliflower rice, or firm tofu. Quinoa, couscous, wild rice, barley, buckwheat noodles are all better than white rice for pre diabetics
