I guess I don't care that much? Imagine if schools spent this level of effort on academics, which is you know, THE WHOLE POINT OF SCHOOL. I would love for schools to adapt the kind of rigor put into sports teams into kids' learning.
Are you insane? Schools DO put this much effort into academics. Unfortunately most of the effort does go towards "equity." Schools can't "cut" the kids who are way behind and just can't cut it. Sports can. Like PP said, sports is not an entitlement like free education.
