We ordered our 2023 Bolt EUV from Sport Chevrolet with no mark-up. We did have to wait a couple of months, but we got exactly what we wanted with no mark-ups -- just straight MSRP (plus taxes). After having gone to an absolutely dreadful dealership in VA, Sport was super-refreshing.

I have no regrets about buying the 2023 Bolt even if Chevy is going to discontinue it. It's a great little car for the everyday commuting/running errands/schlepping kids.

The bolt uses older battery tech that GM is moving on from

BTW we love our EUV. I highly recommend that for 2023 or the new Equinox EV in 2024.

The Equinox EV is nearly identical to the Bolt EUV. Just a touch longer in the back. So presumably a little more cargo space in the hatch.

The Bolt platform is a couple of years old, which is a long time in the EV world. Having the model phased out may give some price breaks. Maybe.

I just got a nice used Volt, a 2017. There is a 4k tax credit on used hybrids (with certain perimeters, see the IRS site) which made it even nicer. I love it so far! I used to fill my old car's tank ever 4-5 days, I've had the Volt for almost 3 weeks and filled it once (I have a long commute). It costs me less than $1 to charge to full, but of course that varies depending on utilities.

Wouldn't buy a Bolt, just google "Bolt catching fire" and you'll understand why.

Like PP said, that was fixed-and gas cars catch fire regularly as well! People act like a car never burned until ev's were invented, lol.

I actually strongly considered a Bolt recently, it's a cute little thing but I wasn't ready to go full ev so got a used Chevy Volt-thanks Chevy for making the names SO similar! 'it's Volt, with a V' haha

The Equinox coming out is best EV coming out. It is main Reason Tesla is lowering prices. It is a well equipped SUV with next generations batteries at a 30k price point.

How much bigger is the equinox than the Bolt EUV?
