It has to be insecurity, right? As someone who has kids in her mid 30’s, I can’t imagine coming on here and bashing people who were fortunate enough to get married and have kids before me, but it seems to be open season here on people who do the reverse.

Op, I hadn’t even met my yet when I was 36. I ended up having kids at 41 and 44. It’s ten years later and we’re all doin great. Life is inherently imperfect. It doesn’t always go the way we want it to. And that’s okay.

I had my only child at 45, after a long struggle with infertility. I try not to waste time with what-ifs and focus on being fully present in the time I do have. OP, If you haven’t already I’d suggest seeing an RE.

Aw, OP. I was a geriatric mom - it's certainly not ideal, IMO, as I am very tired and I worry that my kids will have kids when they are older, and I won't be able to be the hands on grandma that my own mom was!

But what is the alternative? Not having kids at all? That's not what I wanted either so...

Falls down to it is what it is.

Had mine at 39. Honestly not even sure what you’re so upset about. I’m guessing you’re actually upset about other things? Like the miscarriages? I think the therapy suggestion is a good one.
