Meh. Falafel was invented by the Copts. Egyptians are a mere 17% Arab, spread throughout the Middle East by Arabs, Jews, Kurds, Turks, etc. Hummus and falafel adapted to local tastes and genetic conditions, seasonings, etc. Really most of the food claimed as “Arab” is really Turkish. So hummus and falafel are Jewish foods, just like kibbeh, couscous, stuffed vegetables, lachuch, etc.

Can latkes get reheated at the school? OP wanted to pick them up. Don’t want them to get cold.
