My magnet kid was surprised at the workload.
It's an entire semester in 3 weeks. What did your "magnet" kid expect?
He'd taken two other summer classes before and the volume of assignments was surprising in comparison.
He doesn't sound like he gets that a condensed class in three weeks will be more work. Guess the magnet program didn't teach logic.
Shame you lack reading comprehension. He had already taken two summer classes, and Health A was considerably more work. As a magnet student, he was accustomed to a very heavy workload and was still surprised. If you can't comprehend why those two data points are relevant to OP's question, that says a lot about you.
This is OP - thanks for your input and I did get the point you were trying to make.
Based on the feedback here, I'm not ruling out the summer class but I'll suggest my kid wait a year to be more mature to power through the workload.
I think that's wise, OP. He'll need to be ready to devote several hours/day to it most days plus the actual classes themselves.

Why are you like this?
