Chile just finished their spring/summer which is where the US imports a lot of produce, particularly blueberries, om our off season and given the American dollar is really strong compared to their faltering peso its not unreasonable that blueberries are a bargain right now.

Ahhh okay. I only eat fruit locally, shopping at the farms in VA or MD in season. Interestingly enough, it never occurs to me to purchase imported fruit from Costco.
