You boost the economy, but with a larger population that means less GPD per capita= less standard of living. It is great for people with more money to have cheaper labor.

Be active among Republicans and get someone like that nominated. Democrats will not select someone with those positions. Republicans many times do nominate pro-choice and elect pro-choice candidates, but they are usually pretending to be more conservative on other issues and are really just about getting the lobbying money.

Probably from all the immigrants from England who came and founded colonies and then whose children and grandchildren started up a revolution to create a new nation that welcomed immigrants who then expanded the nation westward.

Invasion of the English who then expanded west with the invasion and occupation.
