You aren't doing it right then. Clearly the thousands of other weight lifters who do leg and butt workouts and who see results prove whatever you're doing is wrong. Nope. Bodies are different, as a PP said. I’m a mid-40s women who builds muscle easily and looks “jacked” in my upper body and core (as per the many “do you CrossFit” comments I get when I wear tank tops). My legs wouldn’t be that defined absent an obsessive focus on reducing my body fat to unhealthy levels since, like many women, that’s where my fat accumulates.
Again: bodies are different, largely due to genetics. Workouts and reasonable diets, especially ones for non-professional athletes, only get you so far.
