My DH is an SES at at a reg agency. He started his career with a guy who is now a senior executive at a company they regulate. He’s invited us to his beach house on multiple occasions. We have always said no because that just feels wrong even though it might be ok because they knew each other before. Guess we’re just a bunch of stupid schlubs for not taking the free stays.
