What is more challenging in the DC area?

We're interested in this. Maybe one with smaller class sizes. My DD wants to study dance in college and feels as though she's been overlooked. Instructor comments are overwhelmingly positive about her, evaluations all give her high marks, but when it comes to castings she's clearly not in the "in" group that seem to always get chosen. So we're looking for other schools in the area that will help her prepare for her dream college choices and give her more performance opportunities outside of The Nutcracker. Please share!
This was us, left TWSB last year for Seber, and are MUCH happier. DD has progressed so much more in the last year
That's good to know! I'll check them out! My DD is looking for serious training, small class sizes, and individualized approach.

This is our issue in level 3. Daughter does not feel challenged and said she sent her personal gains are minimal. I think she’s used to a stricter regimen. I’m not sure what’s expected at this level. Because I work in Va, my sister does drop off and husband picks up.
Does anybody have experience with the summer program? After attending other summer intensives I’m nervous about continuing (although this option breast fits our life right now.
Thanks

Anonymous wrote:Except those professional dancers are not being produced by TWSB, at least not in the pre-PTP levels. PTPA has been pretty much entirely filled with dancers from the outside; current TWSB students don't stand a chance given the large class sizes and slow pace at the lower levels. Many of the better students leave for smaller, more intense studios long before they get to PTP, with some retuning at a higher level.
