He saved money for one year and GF is a high earner (6 figure) so they don't need help with living expenses but of course mom doesn't want him to going into debt for MBA.

I wouldn’t pay for grad school if my kid were married either. I’m on team SIL. When your nephew is mature enough to finance his own school, he’s mature enough for marriage.
