I looked (and went back 4 pages) it seems there are behavioral problems in the MS, non-specific teacher turnover/availability issues, and leadership turnover (which will likely be rectified through hiring). Its not very obvious to me that those issues would mean not bidding on it for the preK3 lotto next year.
You seem awfully dismissive of some huge red flags. You don't find it problematic that the executive director and principal both left midyear? That entire grades of teachers quit midyear?
I am no apologist for TR or the departed ED. She was a disaster. Sadly her departure was not related to TR's trajectory. The incompetent, lazy, disconnected Board would have kept her. She left because of a family matter. The schools is actually much better off with her gone. That one is a check in the "win" category.

Indeed. “Dr” Kristina’s family matter relates to her high school football coach husband being under investigation by the FBI for fraud related to overtime.
Dr is in quotes because her PhD is an online degree.

A significant number of teachers quite mid year without lining up another position. As a former TRY parent, I hope this school is saved somehow, but I’m so thankful we were able to escape.

Check yourself, naive preschool parent. There are numerous threads on behavioral issues and bullying throughout ES. Leadership issues run deep and while hiring will rectify eventually, it will take some time.
You have a lot to learn.

TR and TRY do ECE very, very well. I would not hesitate if knew I'd be gone before 1st grade.

Current parent at Two Rivers. I can attest there are deep problems. It may take 2+ years to right the ship. It is beyond the usual pandemic challenges that are happening around the country.

The Browne ECE hallway is sad but the school is reasonably well run and small.
Thank you, that's good to know. Browne is also slated for renovations, but as I understand it will swing within the school itself. My middle school was renovated while I was in school and it was a miserable experience, all of the annoyances and none of the benefits (completed after I left for HS), so that is souring my thoughts but I'm not sure my then-3yo would even notice the inconveniences of construction.

Yes. LT has a principal who will be in her 3rd year next year. She's basically fine, just not super involved. Because the teacher leadership is so strong and the PTO/parents so involved (check out the thread complaining about how the school has too many community events), the school basically just runs without the principal when she doesn't want to be involved. It's a very different situation than TRY is in.
