I’ve never worried about this too very much. I was attractive enough to the kind of men I wanted to date my whole life. I don’t need any more than that.
That makes sense. Beauty is a burden because you get too much attraction from men and the opposite from women - they hate on you. It's really not that fun to be beautiful.

If these things don't happen, you ain't got it.

I was an ugly duckly, like really ugly. Then I went through puberty and starting at about 17 I was very attractive, and men fall all over themselves.
I had a good friend though, that was BEAUTIFUL. The amount of attention I got was annoying, the amount of attention she got was off the charts insane.
When people say "they feel invisible" it is just that you go from everybody breaking their necks to look at you, falling over themselves to open doors, buying you drinks to nothing.
You know because of the way society treats you, if you don't know its because you never received that treatment.

because beauty is subjective. As they say, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
I have two sisters. I always thought the oldest one was the prettiest, but I was told by a few men, that they didn't think that was true. Objectively, I think she is prettier, but I think because maybe they knew our personalities, maybe they found me more attractive. IDK. But, it is subjective.

Siblings often look similar enough that it's really a matter of personal preference.
