My kids did the preschool at Brooke Grove with MCCA. 6:30 is definitely a time when kids would be around.
What was this about? Drugs, domestic issues??
most likely a failed drug dealing or something of the sorts.
Or maybe something else. We don't really know so seems irresponsible to just make up random gossip.
Random gossip is what you get when you withhold basic facts. Are you surprised?

Unfortunately, we've seen too many times that something being illegal or not won't stop them. If they're conducting drug deals, I hope having the gun adds to the sentence. As a concealed carry permit holder, I know I'm not allowed to be on school property with a gun and I don't do it. Criminals will be criminals.
This is Montgomery County. Light sentences all around.
There was video surveillance of that guy who carjacked a lady at the gas station in CC. Remember that? He just got (only) 8 years and we’ll see if he even serves that.
8 years is about a sixth of an adult life. How long would you suggest is appropriate?

We used to sometimes go to the middle school near us to let the kids use the basketball hoops. DH won’t let the kids go on their own anymore because he has seen drug deals there also.
That was my first thought. It says it’s not related to the school, so my guess is drug related.
MCPS says EVERYTHING is not school related. Somehow the shooter runs off, but MCPS knows who the shooter was and what was going on. LOL
A shooting near an ES that happened at night doesn't sound school related.

I’m on the listserve and I wonder if it’s being censored. Sometimes they won’t let posts through.
I couldn’t find anything on Nextdoor, but there was a discussion on ring. I hope the mods are not censoring the discussion. Anyone can post and it is instant, they don’t need to be approved. And things seem to be posting because today is small business Thursday and there are lots of advertisements. But the shootings are 🦗. Maybe they censor words?
I saw the discussion on Ring.
The Obex listserve definitely censors. I am guessing plenty of people posted about it. And NextDoor heavily censors!
