So how are these drugs different from GLP-1s? Are they shorter term?
I have been on Zepbound for a year, and a lot of the negativity toward it is way overblown. It has been amazing for me. There are *possible* risks with any drug and certain risks with being overweight. The nausea etc gets talked about a lot because people want to focus on the negatives, but for most people that goes away pretty quickly. For a smaller number of people it doesn’t, I realize, but that is rare.
I can understand focusing on the lifetime aspect of it, but do these drugs have a better record of people keeping weight off, permanently quieting food noise etc? Or easier to get through insurance/cheaper? That is definitely a downside to the GLP-1s, for now at least.
Asking seriously because I hadn’t heard of those drugs.

Are you required to start on Qsymia vs a GLP-1?
