I would guess that nobody with a neuroscience degree is still a kid. So there's that.

I know one that ended up getting a grad degree in something to treat drug addiction and works at a clinic.

It seems like a popular major but to my knowledge didn't exist 25 years ago when I was in school.
It was called "psychology" then.
It absolutely was not. I have friends who are neuroscientists. They work for research labs at universities and private companies doing research/drug testing/etc. They all have PhDs.
And undergrad psych degrees...
Biology, most of them. And psychology is not neuroscience, although of course they are related fields.
