Many guys will not. I’ve dated many women who indicated no interest in phone calls until a few dates in.
Ghosting, for better or worse, is common. If I text and get no reply I will assume I’m being ghosted. I don’t want to be a pushy creep, and I’m also not desperate.

Texting is ok now in the third decade of the 21st century, you know.
If a guy texted me and called me the wrong name, I’d text back a joke of some sort, drawing attention to his error. How he handles it from there would be very telling!
You can’t take the first few dates so seriously.

Lol, this happened to me, except in reverse, and even worse. I dated a guy in college during the spring, then went away for the summer. When we saw each other in the fall, I couldn’t remember his name at all.
