Exactly. It replaces the venti frapps but with more interesting flavors ans textures. I'm actually surprised that Starbucks hasn't yet bought out a bubble tea chain or added tapioca boba or crystal boba (agar) add-ins for its drinks to retain customers.

It doesn't have to be sugary! I get a fruit tea with the lowest sugar and it's not very sweet at all. If I want to indulge, I get an almond flavored milk tea - less healthy because of the milk/cream but I'm sure there are worse things.

Yes, but I feel nauseous afterwards so only try it every few years when the memory of the last time grows dim.
