This is what you care about? Who gets blamed for it?

Anyone know what this means for APS? Arlington family made a complaint.

This could be a really big deal. After the Fairfax resolution, DOE has been clear they are looking at other Virginia districts for failures during pandemic.
They really need to look at ACPS, too.

Youngkin has been too busy with his culture war agenda to bother with special education problems there. This should have been priority one after he took office because parents everywhere have been frustrated about their kids services following pandemic. Nope. We got a grab bag of culture war failures.

He doesn't care about actual kids, at least not those with special needs
I’m not pro-Youngkin but didn’t all those problems exist under the prior governor? Is he any more culpable than his predecessor?
This has way more to do with the blackface/klan robe wearing, moonwalking former Gov. Northam than Youngkin. Hope they investigate ACPS too!

I’m no Youngkin fan or defender, but a lot of these issues in FCPS predate his administration. Also, plenty of VA school have been using COVID relief funds for tutoring.

+1. To put icing on the cake while VDOE ignored sped kids during the shut down they eventually came back offering tutoring in hopes of playing catch up. This was before[/b] Youngkin was even elected so he can't even attempt to claim this as his idea.
Yeah but APS never even did this. They were stingy about recovery services and most families didn’t get them.
so file a complaint about APS, that'll do a lot more than b*itching on here
