He did have a career before Whittle, and a career since Whittle. He resigned from Whittle and gave up a million dollar package to not be part of what he saw happening. Certainly, he had accomplishments across his career that the search committee at Maret was impressed by and eclipsed his association with Whittle. The Board at Maret approved him. Give the dude a year or two, folks. See what he’s like before piling on all the hatred. You’re welcome.
Just stop. His wife stayed to the bitter end, was paid and part of the inner circle. This is not a clean hands situation.
Maret reputation can only suffer under these two. It was completely unnecessary and someone paid someone. Follow the $
You talk like she committed a crime. Tell me what her crime was. I’m very interested. I think the bigger threat to the reputation of Maret is people that come here to spew vitriol and rumors and be derisive without having ever met the guy. Go ask your search committee and your board what qualities the HoS has that were more important than his time at Whittle. Certainly there must’ve been a lot of applicants for the job at Maret. That would be a lot more productive for you. But you might learn some things that mitigate your anger and maybe you’re not looking for that.

Just as an outside observer here, and maybe I’m not understanding the point of your question, but really?? The students of Whittle were “infected” by attending Whittle and should not be admitted to Maret or other area private schools, lest those prestigious communities should be sullied by their presence?
They didn’t learn anything under the new HoS head and his wife while they were at Whittle. They are not infectious, just unqualified

I tried to look for this to see what was said, but don’t see another thread like that. Did it get deleted?
I looked back for the thread too and could not find it. It was active yesterday. There was a post that used the new HOS’s name in the thread, so I assumed maybe it was deleted because it named someone specific.
No it was the Maret troll poster. Think it was the same person who was upset about getting fired or something. The old HOS is still in place and the new HOS does not take over till next year.
There were Whittle transfers.
