The Boston suburbs are a lot more D than NYC suburbs though. Is there a discernible Italian vote in the Boston area?

Which makes no sense since the GOP hasn't met a union it didn't want to bust.
And democrats haven't seen a steel mill or a coal mine that they didn't want to regulate out of existence. That's before we get to NAFTA (kind of surprising that the party who is supposedly pro-labor is also the anti-protectionist party) or non-economic issues
