Sports Analytics....he needs to volunteer with the athletic department during undergrad. 2people that I know work as a BA or DA for sports companies and this is where they gained experience

I closely know three math majors. One is a high school teacher, earns ton of money ( $120 -150 per hour) tutoring for AP and SAT. Second is a managing partner in a consulting firm, earns insane amount of money and did MBA on company's diem. Third, went actuary route and totally out earns others with his own company.
