My thoughts exactly! Every school in this area has issues and obnoxious kids and parents. You and your kid need to learn to ignore or deal with it. Or just hide under a rock your whole life.

yes, but the wealthy have a special type of entitlement/privilege issue. Conversely, a very high FARMs rate school also has specific issues due to high poverty.

Nope No troll! 100 percent sick of inconsiderate, selfish kids raised by inconsiderate, selfish, entitled parents. The behavior of the parents shows up in the kids. It is wretched at my “W” school. Teach your kids respect, manners and kindness. They are not the stars you think they are. Get over yourselves.

I graduated from a W, and this rings true. There are disproportionate privileged and inconsiderate parents and students at these schools.

Incidents like the kids in black face, N* word cards, to more recently a Churchill kid with a knife chasing students around the Whitman parking lot.

Yes. It’s awful. And the kids are so disrespectful to the teachers. Won’t put away cell phones, talk back, etc. The parents are equally disrespectful.

But this is a problem at all schools. However, some people do think that W schools don't have these problems, but they'd be wrong. There is a special entitlement of the wealthy.

I honestly can't tell whether this post is sincere or not sincere.

They teach their kids to disregard the feelings of others and have a “ me first” attitude It’s just gross. Kids are allowed to mouth off and assert themselves every which way. No limits. The rudeness to authority figures is like nothing I have ever seen. Teachers, coaches, director of the musical and so on.

Gross. It’s just gross. This is a good school? One of the best in the state?

We get all that at RM too but we add in a variety of guns, overdoses, fights, assaults, and the weed/vape bathroom on the 3rd floor. Oh and no parking.

It's the best of both worlds

Pretty sure all HS have vaping and fights, some even have knives (Churchill, guns (BCC).

As to the parking.. yea, it sucks, but you know.. they can always take the bus.

-RM parent whose senior parks on the street. I told DC if they don't like having to walk the several minutes to the building, they can always take the bus. DC declined. Shrug. That's DC's choice.

OP is either a troll, or self-loathing. Their are some entitled parents are at every school in MCPS, not just the Ws

If you're not a troll, OP, you should be mature enough to understand that MCPS high schools are SO HUGE... you just need to change groups and voila! Whole new school experience.

WJ is more reasonable IMO.

My kid is only a freshman but it does seem kind of fine.

The single most important factor in school success or failure - car parking!
