Unless the plan is to use French names, choosing a less French name makes a more interesting set. Using another two syllable French leaning name like Margot or Marie is just the easy answer, but also feels like the same name as Camille. Go with something a little further out of the box that is still harmonious.

How do you say this name? If I were you I would stick with the French theme. Maybe not a C name but, Madeleine, Sofia Here some ideas

I disagree with the French theme. It's very Duggar-ish, but with a country instead of a letter.

My French name was Camille in high school French class. To this day, when I see the name, I hear my teacher saying it with the emphasis on the first syllable, in her weird voice. Bonjour KA-meel!
But I do like the name. I also love Sabine.

In French it’s pronounced ca-MEE. So in English, usually ca-MEEL (so same pronunciation but without dropping the final consonant as the French do). Never heard it or ounces with a short i sound.
