+1

They’re not even pretending it’s about equity or fairness

By 'at rish hour' I mean all afternoon every day. It costs a 3 minute light cycle to every driver turning onto NB 16th st everyday, andd it's completely illegal.

Lol, nobody cares. "Won't someone think of the drivers?"

S/o what about the food trucks in DC? Do Those have health and safety checks? They’re parked in front of restaurants, they are bumper to bumper on the mall (and are a huge eyesore), the trucks are old and putting out all the propane or gas emissions.

Council does not care nor does the Mayor.

You can get a DLCP investigator to come out but then watch the truck drive off. Those formerly DCRA staff are stuck waiting on MPD to assist but MPD is too busy hiding from imagined dragons in their precinct houses. Next time you see an unlicensed food truck, take photos and complain. At least there will be data of complaints showing that there is a problem.

If you are the business owner can you please sue? It’s the only way

CVS needs to ask Congress to intervene!

Gimme a break
It’s been a thing for a decade but it took skill to steal and one could call it out for what it is before the pandemic
Now White (Guilt) Rhino Brianne is legalizing this crap

why do you think the CVS locks so much stuff up in certain locations and not others. Detergent, body soap, deoderant are some of the most stolen goods

Anonymous wrote:Why do you assume the goods are stolen? Would it be possible to purchase those items from CVS and then resell them in neighborhoods that don't have a CVS every other block like they do in the suburbs?

Spend some time in Columbia Heights. There is a CVS on the corner and most of the vendors are selling crap sold in a CVS but usually locked up. This is not adding any vibrancy to the street, these are not artisans folks. This is a flea market in an an area that desperately needs a facelift even though it was lifted 15 years ago...
