+1. Whoever has the kids (really just the younger one at this point) has the car. Live in Arlington, walk kids to/from school, I’m a SAHM, and DH works from home. He Ubers 1x a month, on average. That $15 Uber ride is way less than the cost of a second car. I fill up our car once every 3 weeks or so.

Nope. We added a car because another teen turned old enough to drive. No one WFH and the kids go to private school with no transportation. We have 3 cars at home right now.

Yes. We went down to one car and it has been a big savings. Use Lyft rather than Uber.
