Perhaps think about just getting a computer with a huge screen or using tv screen as monitor only. You can watch anything from the internet.

This is good advice. Never connect your tv to the internet, other than to upgrade firmware if needed. If you do connect it put it on a guest network.

Not PP. Smart TVs can be data aggregators. Ideally, you should buy a TV that’s merely a monitor.
