Again, don't compare biotech and pharma to the rest of corporate. Nearly all major pharma companies have HQs in suburbia outside a major city. You need tons of lab space and need to meet environmental regs. You can find that kind of space and distance from population in urban centers. Your pushing pipettes, not pencils or keyboards.
