She told you in the op.
PP here, I don’t have thigh gap but I have never experienced chaffing either. My point is why ruin the comfort of a dress by putting on shorts.
Lotion/lubrication would be at top of mind.

You can’t imagine that other women are different than you? Because we chafe and it’s unbelievably painful. If I went without shorts under dresses I would be unable to walk within an hour or two. It’s excruciating. Lubrication might stave it off for a bit but it’s not a solution for a long day of walking.
Never said I can’t imagine. I said I don’t get it. I wouldn’t wear a dress if I need to wear shorts under it. I can have an opinion.
I see. If you don’t get it…well, I am sorry for your lack of intellect.
It isn’t about intellect, it is about comfort. It sounds like you are trying to be more comfortable by making yourself uncomfortable. I don’t get why you would wear a SUN DRESS which one typically wears in warmer months if it requires you to put on another layer of clothing. Typically a person would shed layers in warmer weather not add them.

Somehow I think you do know why. A lot of women have thighs that touch and rub together when you walk which causes painful chafing.
