Stern is (literally no one from my son's high school has been accepted to Stern in five years) but the rest of the school, no.

25-30 years ago, many of the now so called elite schools like Vanderbilt, UPENN, UChicago, WashU etc. had acceptance rate of 40%-70%
Isn't it more surprising?



These old timers somehow strangely think that these changes are unique to these select schools.

And yet for both my kids, one a visual artist, and one a musician, Temple would be at or near the top of the list, over many of the other schools.

NYU has better "prestige" nationally and internationally.

NYU is ranked 25.
Tufts and BC are in the 30s
