Sounds like that was the case here. And it doesn’t help when adults draw even more unnecessary attention to this kind of nonsense.

People are allowed to make jokes about their own history. It’s not actually a bias incident. It’s a normal way of processing. It’s common in Jewish humor.

Are we sure the kids are saying anti-Jewish things, or is the rhetoric more anti-minority?

I haven’t heard anything about this in my mcps pyramid. Curious which schools are impacted.

We need more classes to teach kids to hate hate.

Most disagree. Look at the Woods middle school homophobic club thread. Most are made at the principal for calling the police saying she over reacted.

I know some of the details of the social media incident. It wasn’t posted on social media. It was a small group chat. An 11 year old Jewish student sent a photo to a few friends. It was another friend wearing a fake mustache that looked like Hitler. The other stuff sounds terrible, but this is the context of that incident.

Don't be so sure. There was as kid terrorizing synagogues in the area a few years ago. He was an Israeli Jewish teen. Could be anyone.
