Most of the time, it's women who want to have babies and nurse them. "Contribution to the relationship" is washing the dishes, i.e. something you'd rather not do but have to do. Children? It's what women want, deeply.

Its not unholy or unacceptable to divorce but if you bring children into a marriage then try to make it work and don't break family over lust or frivolous differences.

More people should choose celibacy. Marriage is definitely hard but there is at least a point to it; sleeping with people as a single person sounds a lot more fun than it actually ends up being. The juice isn’t worth the squeeze, as they say.


You have to be a very special person to enjoy monogamy. Sleeping with single people is very very fun if you're single.

Unfortunately doing so doesnt improve the relationship. Men would still cheat, abuse and live their own life while being married. Separate finances with a well earning woman is what makes the lower paid man stay and be loyal.

It is entirely possible that women can have babies and nurse them within the context of their 50%. Of course, that alone may constitute a high portion of that 50%, but the two are not incompatible.

Even in a long term happy marriage, you should have a plan if you needed to leave and where you would get the resources to do that. You can be committed, but you should also be realistic.
