Also agree on Rosewood. Expensive but such a beautiful hotel

Stayed in the Rubens and Vintry & Mercer last summer. Different vibes, but both were wonderful and accommodating.

After doing a lot of research, DH and I are going in April and have reservation at St Ermin’s (a Marriott property) in Westminster. We also looked at The Langham (which is more traditional than modern but is updated) but seemed a great value for 5 star hotel (was as low as $350/night for the week we’ll be there).

Years ago, before security reasons caused them to stop, you could actually go up in the "Big Ben" clock tour on a special tour. Yes, it is loud! I don't remember if we were given earplugs, but you definitely had to cover your ears.

We stay at the Great Scotland Yard hotel. I've recommended it to a few friends and they love it too. It has a cool/ sexy vibe, great location, and it's a Hyatt property, if you happen to have points.

Hyatt Scotland Yard. Very central location and great rate on a ‘family room’ that’s two connected rooms

First few times there, Taj St James Court....very central

Now that we know the city, Dorsett Shepherds Bush.....Shepherds Bush/Hammersmith area.....bit removed from the main sites, but easy tube access and vibrant neighborhood
