PES Profile:
We moved DD1 to Mosby-Woods-pre-Mosaic for AAP prior to PES having a full Level IV offering. She nearly completed her 6th grade year there at MWES before the COVID shutdown. DD2 is now in her first AAP year at PES (3rd grade).
(the difference may well be related to the difference in numbers of English learners in the two schools)
Both schools have a similar percentage of kids get admitted to AAP. The difference is that the Providence kids are much more likely to stay in the LLIV, whereas the Daniels Run kids are more likely to attend Mosaic. Providence has an excellent AART and offers Science Olympiad, MOEMS, and some other things like that, so that might be the reason more kids are staying there.

I am concerned that Daniels Run does not offer a dedicated classroom for AAP students, but rather claims to match rigor of the AAP curriculum in an integrated classroom. I have real doubts re that option.
Does anyone have experience with one of these integrated classrooms, ideally in DR?

Daniel's Run is another 3 miles up the road, into Fairfax City, and sends AAP kids to Mosaic school if they want to go to an AAP center.
Really? Mosaic ES isn't in/near the Mosaic District? I assumed it was.
